The Vance Center's South Africa Legal Fellows Program places South African lawyers from historically disadvantaged backgrounds in South Africa with corporate law firms and corporate legal departments in New York City. The program tackles the legacy of apartheid and spreads the spirit and practice of pro bono legal service. In 2010, 38 alumni of the South African Legal Fellows Program established a fellowship network to support junior colleagues and promote pro bono engagement in social justice.

Please visit the Law Society of South Africa's website for the Legal Fellows Program information and application.
