The Vance Center co-sponsors delegations and conferences with New York City Bar Association Committees and other partners.

In August 2013, lawyers from Bolivia, Chile, and Peru joined in a delegation to Guatemala to assess the impact on the rule of law in Guatemala of the ongoing prosecution for genocide and crimes against humanity of former dictator José Efraín Ríos Montt.

In May 2013, the South African Legal Fellows Network, formed by Vance Center program alumni, joined in a conference in Johannesburg on enhancing diversity in the South African legal profession, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the South African Legal Fellows Program.

In January 2013, more than 60 judges and judicial officials from 12 countries in Latin America, invited by the Justice Studies Center of the Americas (Chile), with support from the New York City Bar Association Council on Judicial Administration, met with New York based federal and state judges and judicial reformers to consider innovation in adjudication.

Also in January 2013, the Swedish Bar Association joined in a delegation to Montenegro to assess media freedom.
