"The first rule of any technology used in a business is that automation applied to an efficient operation will magnify the efficiency. The second is that automation applied to an inefficient operation will magnify the inefficiency" – Bill Gates

Dear Solo and Small Firm Practitioners,

Welcome to the Small Law Firm Month at the NYC Bar. Our 10th Annual Small Law Firm Practice Management Symposium is on November 14, and this year it is all about starting and running your law firm in the 21st Century, learning not only the basics of start up, but also how to make your business operate efficiently and successfully by using the latest available tech tools. Whether you are interested in starting a Virtual Law Firm on a shoestring budget, creating a website, marketing the firm on and off line, or using cloud technology to level the playing field between your super effective small firm and larger competitors, you will be able to speak to the experts and get valuable information during the Symposium. Of Course, we will also feature our popular workshops, such as Small Firm Startup, Growing Your Firm by Expanding Business Relationships and Billing Practices Roundtable, as well as lots of networking at our breakfast, lunch, seasoned Solo Drop-in-Center and afternoon reception. There will also be ethics components on use of Social Media, Cloud-Based Technology, and Best Practices to avoid Malpractice Claims. Don't miss it, the price is minimal ($45 for members including breakfast, lunch, reception and full day of workshops) and the benefits are great! To register click here.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Symposium and our other Small Law Firm events,

Alla Roytberg
