City Bar Center for CLE Partners with West LegalEdcenter
The City Bar Center for CLE has announced an expanded partnership with continuing education provider West LegalEdcenter, creating a new way for firms to manage continuing legal education.
For nine years, the City Bar and West LegalEdcenter have had a limited partnership, with some City Bar CLE programs distributed through West LegalEdcenter’s expansive online database. Now, City Bar members will be able to both attend live CLE courses at the City Bar and complete online courses through West LegalEdcenter in the same package.
If your firm purchases a CLE Passport from the City Bar, lawyers will have access not only to the over 150 discreet live programs the CLE Center presents every year, but also to the over 8,000 online courses covering all learning levels and addressing topics in national, state, local, and international law. Firms have the option of purchasing the live and online package, or the online package only.
“This arrangement between our two organizations creates a one-solution CLE entity,” said Michelle Schwartz-Clement, director of CLE for the City Bar. “I am very excited about how it will provide our members and nonmember attorneys a wealth of additional online programs.”
