The Importance of a Diverse Judiciary

Last month, the City Bar honored minority state and federal judges in New York with a reception featuring a keynote address by Hon. Roger L. Gregory, of the U.S. Court of Appeal, 4th Circuit. Hon. Gregory is the first African-American judge to sit on the 4th Circuit, which encompasses states between Maryland and South Carolina, as well as Washington, D.C.
