Refugee Assistance Project

The Refugee Assistance Program works with volunteer attorneys to provide free legal assistance to low-income asylum-seekers, matching the needs of the client with the skills and interests of the volunteer. The Refugee Assistance Program offers support and guidance to each volunteer by providing annual trainings, legal advice and research, model papers, and access to translators and country condition experts. Assistance with ancillary immigration relief, such as work authorization, residency permits, and relative petitions, is also provided.
