Small Business Legal Clinics - NELP's legal clinics provide microentrepreneurs with the opportunity to speak one-on-one with an attorney regarding their small business legal issues. Frequently discussed topics include: business structure, incorporation, contracts and agreements, commercial leasing, and intellectual property protection. In order to attend, you must register in advance. See individual event listings below for information on registration.
Presentations - NELP's volunteer attorneys give presentations on small business legal issues at local community development organizations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.

Thursday, April 4th (6 PM - 8 PM): A small business legal clinic will be held in partnership with the Workshop in Business Opportunities (WIBO). The clinic will take place at the offices of BNY Mellon, located at 101 Barclay Street (near Greenwich Street) in Manhattan. Tuesday, April 9th (5:30 PM - 7:30 PM): A small business legal clinic will be held in partnership with the Brooklyn Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of NYC College of Technology. The clinic will take place at the Brooklyn Business & Career Library, located at 280 Cadman Plaza West, Brooklyn NY 11201. This location is easily accessible via the 2,3 trains to Clark Street, the N,R, trains to Court Street, and the 4,5 trains to Borough Hall. Wednesday, April 17th (4 PM - 6 PM): A small business legal clinic will be held in partnership with the Queens NYC Business Solutions Center.
