| The Lucky Ones: My Passionate Fight For Farm Animals Thursday, October 25, 2012 6:30 pm-8:30 pm Event has expired. Registration for this event is no longer available. Author Jenny Brown, will discuss her book, The Lucky Ones: My Passionate Fight For Farm Animals, which explores the formation and operation of Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary, a non-profit organization and refuge for abused and abandoned farm animals dedicated to educating the public about the treatment of farm animals. Ms. Brown will discuss the practices of modern animal agriculture, including the state and federal laws governing the various aspects of animal agriculture and the treatment of farmed animals. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
