Coffee & Networking 8 AM – 8:30 AM; Panel Discussion 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM

Women entering the legal profession often focus almost exclusively on managing the demands of their daily workload. By their fifth year, many of those women realize that they should have focused earlier in their careers on other factors that could have influenced their career decisions and opportunities. This panel brings together accomplished women lawyers from the private and public sectors to provide insight into the “other factors” that may help you navigate the early stages of your own career and plan for your future, including reputation building, job changes, client development, networking, mentors, and specialization.

Moderator: LORI L. PINES, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP

Speakers: ANJANETTE CABRERA, Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C.; SONIA LOW, General Counsel, Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc.; KATHLEEN O'CONNOR, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP

Sponsored by: Committee on Women in the Profession, Angela T. Rella, Chair
