Today approximately 300,000 children are serving as soldiers in more than 30 conflicts worldwide in clear violation of international law. Many have been abducted or recruited by force and others join armed groups out of desperation and impoverished circumstances. This panel of noted experts will explore the use of child soldiers as a violation of international law and will propose strategies for prevention and rehabilitation.
