Author Gene Baur will discuss his book, Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food, which explores the formation and operation of the non-profit organization Farm Sanctuary, and examines the practices and effects of modern animal agriculture, including the state and federal laws governing the various aspects of animal agriculture and the treatment of farmed animals.
