Re-entering the legal profession after a break is a process that requires a well-considered and executed plan of action. Steps in the process should include a thorough assessment of career options, updating substantive and practical legal skills, tapping into existing and new networks, honing job search skills and developing the confidence to speak with prospective employers about your skills and the reason for your break. This panel of re-entry program administrators, career counselors and re-entry attorneys will discuss the important components of a successful re-entry plan so that attendees can approach the process successfully.
