Green Careers in the Law - City Bar Summer Series Wednesday, July 13, 2011 6:30 pm
Registration:
Many attorneys who have a passion for environmental issues have successfully developed legal careers which focus on air and water quality, climate change, wildlife protection, energy use, biodiversity, chemicals and pesticides, or other issues. Attorneys can play a role in environmentally responsible planning as well as sustainable growth and development. Lawyers in 'green' fields use their skills and training to interpret and apply the law, to develop policies and strategies that will aid in preventing environmental damage, and to provide results in environmental cleanup or contamination matters. This panel will provide valuable insight on how several attorneys with 'green' careers turned their skills and interests into rewarding and challenging legal career paths.
